hello! I’m back
I feel like wordpress was always a better outlet for me to gather my thoughts than tumblr.
tumblr to me seems like I just rant a lot about my interests.
well, I think I’m going to write in here every now and then, so we’ll see how it goes.
someone asked me today whether or not cali was as fun as I had hoped it would be.
& my honest answer was, no. I mean I know that it’s only been a couple weeks and I did a lot of things. I went on a road trip to san francisco, I’ve watched movies, hung out with hayon (more like lived with her), and watched hours and hours of television. actually, the only big thing is the road trip. other than that, I haven’t really done anything this summer.

& I feel like I need to set a goal for this summer. other people have their summer jobs, their internships, they’re traveling, and I’m literally at home everyday, watching tv.
it needs to stop. I need to get out there and do something. I want to say that I accomplished more than clocking in close to 200 hours of television this summer.

what that goal is, I’m not sure of just yet. but I’m going to really try and find out. whether it be that I lose some weight or learn to play the piano again, I’m going to do it with my all and not just half-ass my way through my own life. I’m going to live my life cause one life’s all you’re given. it only makes sense to make the most of out it ,right?

3-day weekend

this weekend couldn’t come at a more perfect time. I love it! god, every weekend needs to be a 3-day weekend. I always say to myself, “I wish I just had one more day (of weekend fun!)”

so it started out pretty good,

NCPC @ victoria’s. oh my god, I didn’t think I would ever say this but it was…so good. like, really delicious. damn, it’s growing on me (on all the BU girls I think). afterwards, off to BC. .. time to fondue it up.

it was so scrumptious. the consensus was that it’s best with the pound cake. mm mm mm mm good. I want some more…gosh darn it. we just had to waste so much chocolate on our beginner’s batch!

oh and we played lots of go.stop // that game is so fun! I gotta learn to strategize though.

& then on saturday morning, we returned home to the lovely boston university (which was much windier than BC) but then on the way back to hojo, we stopped by hall’s pond. it was so pretty!

had to do some jumping pictures! how could I resist with that background? it was such a “new england” kind of day.

and then I watched doubt & milk (from netflix) & caught up on my tv shows (grey’s anatomy & private practice)

sunday was…dress up day! roomies & I decided to dress up and we were all wearing heels to church. cute, but painful. church was church…after church, livca went to harvard ave. and brought us back red-bean smoothies!!!

which we had with our ramen that we cooked in my fondue pot.

not bad, eh? it was mighty deelish.

we killed it.

can’t wait to cook more recipes in that fondue pot!! the possibilities are endless….

and now it’s monday! I’ve decided to use this day to catch up on my schoolwork (with a little movie time squeezed in). off to lunch at shelton! (I found where my lemon poppyseed muffins were hiding! at shelton. that is where I’ll be going to eat breakfast every morning )

whooping cough

so up until about a week or so ago I was fine as a bird. I was healthy, I mean.

and then it all changed…my throat started to itch a little bit and I didn’t think it was a big deal but it only got worse and now…I’m coughing at least every couple minutes or so and it’s annoying, to say in the least. I want it to go away. so today I looked up what it could be.

I was thinking it could be swine flu but a friend assured me that I have to have major stomach pains and a high fever (and thank the Lord, I have neither!) & I don’t think it’s the cold or flu..I don’t have a runny nose. I just have this itchy throat and I keep coughing. I spent almost twenty dollars on cough drops (fml). and so now I’m on web md (I’m kind of a hypochondriac..well I might not be…a used to think that I had gigantism…I techincally could have it and just now know it yet..don’t even laugh) and then I thought I had swine flu a couple days ago and now..I’m sooo scared that I might have the “whooping cough“

I either have the whooping cough, dry cough, or cough with wheezing. it varies and I’m not sure what my coughs would be categorized as. I wish I was healthy I have my philosophy midterm on monday and I’m pretty sure I’m not gonna do so hot.

I just pray that I’ll be able to do pretty decent.

PLEASE GOD, LET ME LIVE FOR AT LEAST 50 MORE YEARS. I’M SO YOUNG AND I HAVEN’T HAD A CHANCE TO DO ANYTHING WITH MY LIFE YET. I REALLY DON’T WANT TO DIE. like, really.

I hate it when people put in toilet paper THE WRONG WAY. it bugs the crap out of me. (and to see what I mean about the wrong way, look at the illustration above)
